Is Kumon the polor opposite of Natural Math? New father and I'm anxious about the different schools of thought. Does anyone have experience with Kumon? How does it compare to your experience with Natural Math?
Thx

I'd say Kumon and Natural Math have complementary goals. Kumon is aimed at drilling technical skills and standard exercises within standard school curriculum. Natural Math is an extracurricular program for problem-posing and -solving, modeling, and mathematical art. You can check out all of Natural Math books on the website. Sample chapters are there, and you can dial the PDF price to 0. Book intros talk more about the Natural Math approach. https://naturalmath.com/goods/
