I'm a trained maths teacher who has escaped the school system to home educate. I started doing GCSEs (British exams at 16) with my son, then did A-levels (exams at 18) with my older daughter and now just have my 9 year old daughter at home. She has always been home educated so I'm loving watch her understanding develop organically, without formal teaching, curriculum or workbooks. We play lots of games and read books together. I've recently started a maths circle for other home educated children and am loving it.
