I am home schooling my children and am looking for something I can use to teach middle school math. I currently have a 6/7th grader and a 5th grader who struggles mightily with math. The "traditional" approach does not work, but not being a "math person" myself, I really need a course or curriculum to go by.
I see this forum hasn't been used in over a year, so I hope that there are still people paying attention to it. (?)

Stacy,
Thank you very much for sharing some of your journey, and for everything you do to change the math fate of the next generation! It's the parents who really make the difference. You rock!
Out of our courses, I would try Transformers, the intro to linear algebra: https://naturalmath.com/transformers-matrices-graphs/
I would also recommend, if you haven't yet seen it, the Living Math resources, including their curricula discussions. You can start here: https://www.livingmath.net/perfect-curriculums/ I love their forum and the essays on their site.
Let me know if you'd like to talk more, or have particular teaching and learning questions about your children!
