Math Trek is a mathematics, movement and photography game. Participants explore their towns and communities, start noticing mathematics everywhere, and grow their math eyes.

How it started in 2012
A car shop trek 2012
Frantz Automotive in Cary welcomed our Math Trek group for exploration of the topic “Math in the Machine.” From measuring gauges to machines that multiply forces, we looked for precision, angles, gradients and more machine-related math. The owners were very helpful and gave us an excellent tour.
